Merry Christmas! STDs for everyone!

STD stuffed animals. The perfect gift for anyone of your Christmas list. Especially perfect if you haven't found the right way to tell your partner you've given them herpes.

Do you miss me, Miss Misery?

What ever happened to inspiration?

So, I was looking for a little bit of modivation to both inspire me to do well, and make you roll your eyes at the pure cheese of that. Instead of that, I found these little gems. Not at all modivating, but enjoy anyways.

The first one goes out to all you McPloyees, with all your hopes and dreams in life.

This next one is for everyone else. I know you can relate, don't even pretend you can't.

Two faced

This picture was passed around while I was in college for Veterinary Technology. I'm still unsure whether it has been photoshopped or not. I guess you can be the judge on this one.

I recently attended Warped Tour in Barrie. I'm searching (to the best of my abilities) for pictures of some of the faces I saw in the mosh pits that day. I haven't had much luck...so for now, just picture zombies. The people that came out of the pit were covered in dirt and dust. The insides of their mouths looked like they had just been gourging on human flesh. It was really, really sexy. As was the smell of sweaty boys.

No pictures today, but tomorrow there will be some staler-ish pictures I took of Claudio Sanchez of Coheed and Cambria. I'm such a fangirl!

Clandestine Industries....DKNY....what?!

Clandestine Industries has teamed up with DKNY jeans....which now makes them the most expensive brand geared at emo kids. Honestly, if we cannot afford DKNY, we CAN'T afford it when Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy) attaches his name to it.

American Rock

The following is taken from Annie Leibovitz's book, American Rock. This is probably one of my favorite shots from the entire book.

This post was created partially to show off her work, and possibly to brag about how I will be seeing the White Stripes when they come to London in a few days. Yay!

Everybody Hurts: The Essential Guide to Emo Culture

If you haven't already, check out "Everybody Hurts: The Essential Guide to Emo Culture" by Leslie Simon and Trevor Kelley. This is probably the funniest book I have ready in a long time. Is it bad that I see so much of myself in this book though?

Favorite Quote:
"[Chris] Carrabba is sort of like the Jason Priestly of emo frontmen. In real life he may be in his early thirties, but he plays a seventeen-year old on tv."

Wet Floor? Thanks, asshole.

This was taken in Toronto a couple weeks ago.

I am almost completly sure that these two pictures are of the same person. On odd days, he plays for Fall Out Boy, and on the even days he plays for Linkin Park.

Note: I'm aware that these are in fact different people, I just like to be a jackass. Its just been proved effective.

Ashlee Simpson vs. Fighting Cats

So, I have this little theory about Ashlee Simpson's song "Boyfriend". If you play the chorus, then listen to the sound of cats fighting, the resemblance is uncanny! Really, try it for yourself.

Scary? Cute?

Am I the only one who thinks this is scary as hell?

This was created by The Capla Kesting Art Gallery in Brooklyn. It was designed to show teenagers the pitfalls of drinking. It is quite qraphic, and allows people to remove the innards. The display shows Paris on an examination table with her dog tinkerbell.

Personally, I just think I'd be impressed with my new ability to remove Paris Hiltons intestines.

Truth

Thursday, April 26, 2007

If you plan on attending any music festival this Summer, make sure you pick up a copy of this month's Spin magazine. It has a hilarious list of do's and don'ts when attending a music festival.

e.g. Do not associate with any Jesus or disciple looking characters unless you run out of weed.

e.g. Music festivals are always the best place to stock up on band merch, especially because everything is usually 4x more expensive than in regular stores. Nothing beats buying expensive crap you don't need, and having to carry it around without a place to put it. Unless you don't understand the power of sarcasm or irony.

A subtle statement...

Theres disliking someone, and then theres THIS. Personally, I just choose to not watch him in anything.

Possible Main of Honor Dresses...

These are a few of the options that I have selected to wear to Drew&AJ's May wedding. What are your opinions?

Childhood in Movies

After watching The Wizard of Oz, I decided that todays theme would be my favorite movies when I was a child. There were many others, but these were the main obsessions.

If you are unsure what the white dog-ish character is, thats Falkor, from the Neverending Story.

R.I.P. The Early November

I know this isn't a picture...but I'm so sad!

So I had the greatest idea to post something cute for Earth Day, which is today. I remember my sister had a t-shirt of the Ziggy cartoon character, and he was sitting on his couch surrounded by animals. The caption read: "Save the Earth, some of my best friends live here."
Well, that idea seemed good, until I spend half an hour searching for that picture. (This was AFTER I was told which cartoom it was. I wasn't even sure it was called Ziggy in the beginning of the search.) The end of this story is that I was unsuccessful in my attempts to find this picture. If you know what I'm talking about, then we're on the same page here. If not, well...use your imagination.

Instead, here is something else:

Oh, and if you try searching "earth day comics" on google, you will NOT find something funny. Trust me.

Oh, how nostalgic...

Theres something about Something Corporate that makes me feel nostalgic, romantic, hopeless and hopeful all at the same time. Oh, and Andrew McMahon is sexy.

Oh, how I love me some Armor for Sleep

Waste all your time with me...I know I'm a mess right now, but don't give up on me.
I'd wait it out for you.

United Colours of Benetton

European ads for United Colours of Benetton have been known for their extreme advertising tactics. The first picture showns the clothing of a gunshot victim. However, if you live in North America, their ads will look like the bottom picture.
I think its funny that a society that thrives upon sex and violence in the media still will not allow this sort of advertising.

"Is this blasphemous?"

Someone at work named Chris changed his nametag to this. No one noticed unless he pointed it out. Its probably the funniest thing I have ever seen.
